Paying for Pay Slips - 60 quid CRBs
Comments

Never pay for a CRB check. If the organisation wants one, they should pay for it.
Depends if you want the job with them or not...The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
4 people on the ignore list....Bliss!0 -
Well, the organization is saying that since they dont have an inhouse accounting department, the £4 charge for admin on the payslip is for the accountant to process her pay!0

I find that agency ask you to pay for the CRB while other companies pay them selfs. Some agencies then return your money after you've worked so many hours. The last two times I've paid £55 + 60 for my CRBs0

i have worked in lots of school all requesting crb i have never been asked to pay and even when i went to an employment agency i was only asked to pay a conribution which was £30.0

That's just ridiculous! Its not the staffs' fault the company doesn't have an in house accountant. They business should factor that in to their running costs.Well, the organization is saying that since they dont have an inhouse accounting department, the £4 charge for admin on the payslip is for the accountant to process her pay!
Do they deduct heating and lighting costs in winter as both tend to be on longer?
If Ryan Air managed salaries.....If freedom is outlawed, only outlaws will have freedom.0 -
the nhs is now charging doctors for their crb checks. ( Well my relatives got charged)
so not that unusual imho.0 -
Would you accept a deduction for interview costs, Googlewhacker? Or deductions for desk wear and tear? 20p to use the toilet? Where would you draw the line? When the poinless CRBs were brought in, no company would dare charge for them. Now that more and more are, and with sheeple like you who just accept any amount of shitte being dumped on them, its almost the norm. Just when will you grow a pair and insist that these things are the cost of business and factor them in, instead of paying NMW and then scrounging back these costs.0
