Info re 8% interests please

I have had some success today with mbna ppi claim

breakdown is totall ppi charged £1424.27
total amount of interest re ppi £1945,85
total amount of 8% interest £ 0

grand total £3370.12

Usual final response in the matter communication letter

Don't get me wrong I am well pleased with this, and thank everyon on here for pointing me in the right direction.

I just wondered what the *5 is about and therefore is that zero figure correct

There are times with credit card redress when you don't receive any 8% interest. Mainly due to the card never being in credit even without the PPI payments, at least you don't have to pay the tax man anything
