Is the film visible from the outside, ie: If he was examining her eye with a light, he would be able to see it. I wouldn't remove it if it's not supposed to be removed.

yes it is visible to the naked eye, it has the appearance of a cataract, i.e a milky coloured covering - when she goes to have it changed they use a split lamp microscope and put a blue dye in her eye before it is replaced.
yes you can beat it :j - everyday is a bonus - use it well
  • If it was me personally I would not allow them to touch it as they could interfere with any treatment she is having, I would suggest she submits a letter either from her consultant stating that they do not want anyone else to examine her eye bar looking at it with a light or from herself stating her concerns that the person examining her is not a specialist in ophthalmic care or surgery and therefore is not a competent person to be carrying out more than a cursory examination that a GP would do. Not touching or removal of protective films anything like that.
well today was a complete waste of make up

Agree with the above statement. They probably will want a look, but only with light. I wouldn't allow anything else.

And remember if she doesn't receive the benefit this time she can always reapply if her condition worsens.

No not really but I do try to keep up with what is happening on a thread! There is nothing wrong with being right, consistent and accurate.

How on earth does 15 points for ESA equate to 20% for IIDB?
You are confusing me and others no doubt.
