AMEX PPI ADVICE PLEASE.. urgently required

HI HAVE A AMEX CC WITH DCA CHASING IT..PPI WAS ON IT..I DIDNT ASK FOR IT NEED IT ETC.. YET I WAS PAYING FOR IT MONTH AFTER MONTH..ITS WITH A DCA..I SENT OFF TOO AMEX PPI COMPLAINT THEY HAVE OFFERD WITHOUT ANY LIABILTY ON THERE PART GOODWILL THEY CALL IT

THE DEBT IS 4000


500 PLUS 160 INTEREST

THEYVE ALSO TOLD ME IN BASIC TERMS
we must also require you to keep the fact and terms of this payment strictly priv` and confidential

That's blown that then :D

The redress will go to the DCA if Ammex did not sell this debt on,you do know this?.
Have you any idea what ppi you have actually paid?.

You should write back to them and say you were mis sold this ppi and can they give you a breakdown of this "goodwill gesture" as you will need this to take to FOS if they do not reconsider.

hi amersall im 99 percent certain debt is not sold its been passed from pillar to dca post as last 6 years have been awful financially-and my partners breast cancer-which started the whole spiral

Sorry to hear this,hope she is recovering x.

You may get the redress back to you,write back to them and see what reaction you get,if they are asking you to keep quite,they will not like the fact you may go to FOS,so they should reconsider this offer!!.

hi what should i write i havent a clue on how to respond to this..id like the debt to be gone..be one less letter on the doorstep i know whatever comes back wont clear it im happy for it to go off the balance..but id like get something sorted

I believe i was mis sold this ppi and could you please tell me, if you know this policy was not mis sold, why are you offering this gesture of goodwill?.
I do not accept this offer and would like you to reconsider this claim for mis sell or i will decline the offer and take this to the Financial Ombudsman for a second opinion.
