Cannot install Kaspersky 2012

Probably the easiest thing is to c&p the email I just sent to Kaspersky Labs, not in much hope of a reply as apparently they don't help with techie matters via the only email address they offer. So here goes, and please can anyone help?
I bought a 2012 3-user CD and have successfully installed it on one computer a couple of weeks ago, simply by entering the key code.
I am now trying unsuccessfully to install on a second computer and am getting this message:
The key file is not compatible with this application. It is impossible to activate Kaspersky Internet Security using the key file for another application. Please, check your product
On proceeding to the help page and re-entering my key code, I find the following:
Dear Kaspersky Lab Home products customer, the service does not support home products activation any more. In order to receive a key file for a purchased home product, please, contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support in your region.Thank you.
I note there is not an option to select Home user on the key code entry screen, only Commercial.
I am extremely frustrated by this, and unsure how to proceed. My current licence expires in a few days so I need an urgent resolution. I am not techie minded at all so anything complicated is not an option, nor should I have to be, as a “home user”.
Having paid for three licences I expect to be able to use them without all this hassle!
Please advise how I can resolve this problem. I will not be purchasing your product in future if this is to be an ongoing problem. I will also be seeking a refund for the unusable two licences.
It is also aggravating that your website gives this email address but says technical help cannot be given via this route. 0871 phone calls are expensive and I don’t see why I should have to hold on for ages waiting to speak to someone, at my own expense.
I await your urgent reply. In the meantime I will be flagging up this problem on various website forums, as a warning to others who might be considering purchasing your product for home use. I note you are quite happy to sell me another pack at £39.99!!!
Regards,

Can't you contact the lab support - on mine if I go through this link
http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/tech_support
then go to the contact technical support and click on the"support for consumer products" bit, it comes up with an email contact page to put the details into. In the past when I've had activation problems Ive found they get back within a day or two with a different link that works fine. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Thanks, not sure whether that's where I got the bit about being unable to provide home support, will have to have another look. I'm a bit fraught atm as I thought it would be a five minute job like with the first PC, and I'm going away tomorrow.
Next time the expiry reminder pops up I'll see if I can find that area.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Sounds like you have a different version of Kaspersky either 2009 or KAV, why not remove it from the computer and install the new version using the CD.0

ive had a similar problem with avg, i was using a dell 32 bit machine on xp,and am was going to use a new 64 bit laptop on windows 7,
most software will run on 32 and 64 bit machines, bt anti virus dosent seem to do that unless its been written for both, 32 bit machines.0 -

Yes the current version says 2010 on the installation screen, although the packaging says 2011 and I bought it and installed it last year, at least I think I did.
It expires on Sunday and I don't have the 2012 CD or my external hard drive with me as they are at our flat (I'm on a netbook so no CD drive). I'm travelling to the flat on Monday, so thinking I'll take the netbook with me and hope I can get it installed that way.
They have emailed me back to say that "commercial" doesn't mean business users only, and to key in my activation code anyway, so I've replied repeating the error message I keep getting, as per my original post.
Can anyone recommend a not too pricey security pack that is safe for online banking etc.? I used to use Norton but it slowed everything down to an unusable degree, and then I couldn't uninstall it, so prefer something other than that. I've heard that McAfee isn't 100% secure for things like banking - is this true? Can't think what others there are out there.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
