fairy liquid with added sugar works well if you are stuck too
Some years ago we were buying a house from an ex-USAF ground crew. The house fell through but we got on really well and he gave me a couple of bars of soap that he acquired from former colleagues.
It's green with a gritty texture, and shifts absolutely anything. Wish I could get some more.

Sealys tools is also good ..
I brought a £350 tool box with £250 worth of tools. all life time warranty.
At their prices they can afford to do that. The same engine crane I have (2T folding long reach) is over £400 inc vat on their website and I bought mine for £195 inc delivery.
What most people don't realise is that many of these tools are made by the same company and simply branded for the distributing company. Halfords ratchet spanners are a fine example of this - branded as Halfords with a lifetime guarantee yet what they don't tell you is that they are made by a company called 'GearWrench' in the USA who offer a lifetime guarantee on all of their tools regardless of the brand they're sold under. Needless to say Draper and several other places sell the exact same products with their own branding on with the same guarantee. I should know, what I bought my ratchet spanners there were a few sizes missing (why do they do that?) and of course I needed them. Went to my local unipart and found them - still stamped 'GearWrench' on the back just like the Halfords stuff and still with a lifetime guarantee. Draper and Sealey were also offering the same via other shops in the area.0 -
