Google shutting Adsense account!

My DH has a niche hobby website and uses Google Adsense on it. Late last night he got an email from them telling him his contract with them is terminated and he has one month "to get another domain parking host" - can't reply to the email of course and DH's site is not a parked domain, but he's been rebuilding it and hasn't updated the original in about 9 months (the day job gets in the way LOL).
His site still gets a lot of hits every day and the adsense is still earning him enough to pay for his hosting each month and more sometimes - so we're a bit puzzled.
Anyone else had this? Google is hard to penetrate at the best of times but I suppose he is going to have to try to contact them.
Anyone got any advice for us?

Firstly look at the policy and see if the site or actions breach any of the terms:

Most likely two candidates is the domain name breachs terms or they've alleged click fraud0 -
Well, thanks for that - I've had a read and can't see anything that applies to DH's position. They aren't alleging click fraud - it seems to be something to do with the idea of "parked" domains - but that's the only thing we can glean from their email. The site has been up and running smoothly for around 4 years- so we're stumped.
I suppose the trouble is, they can do exactly what they want - they own nearly everything in the online world! There's no warning or room for negotiating it seems...0 -
Have they closed the AdSense account in total or just removing the ability to use them to park the domains?
They are certainly still offering the parked domain facility to new customers (or at least their Help files suggest they are)0 -

We don't park any domains - that's why we're so puzzled! But yes, they are actually going to close the Adsense account.0 -

I know Google are changing some of their products.

Subject was "retiring Adsense for domains in your account", and DH thinks it means he's going to have to set up all his ads again on his website, but on closer reading it seems do-able.
Like all their emails, it is complete gobbledegook and incomprehensible!0 -
i got the same message!
Google are stoping their service to host domains for AdSense.
it's easy to move. do you know who the site was registered with?
it's just a case of changing a few entries in the hosting control panel
