    A months rent for a family house maybe, I suppose I was thinking more 'per person'. :)

    I don't have a mortgage at the moment, so would add it to the savings I've got for a deposit.

    Alternatively, we've been talking about getting married later this year so it might go into the wedding fund. :)
    I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

    Ah that makes sense now......

    If I was given 1k today, I'd put it in my savings account towards my house deposit.

    That's the sensible option in reality I'd buy the mattress I'm also saving for...

    HA! I've been looking at rentals in Jersey as my OH is being transferred there. 1900/month for a 3 bed.
