Boots sanctuary glitch. 3 for 2 plus free gift for every £10 you spend

Hi Ladies, I'm after some advice... I've just collected my order which was 3x £1.99 hair products and 3x santuary gift sets. I've been charged £5.93 but Boots only sent the 3x gift sets. Should i call them for a refund on the 3x £1.99 products that were out of stock?

If that was me i would keep stumm as you have the gift sets for £5.93.... less than 2 pounds each

I would probably not say anything either although you do already have the free gifts so surely they can hardly take them off you?! Are they noted on the bit of paper you get in the delivery as being there?

The 3 gifts were marked on the paper enclosed but the 3x £1.99 were marked as out of stock. I'm very pleased they sent the free gifts and at £2 each make lovely presents

Just collected my order from the local store -3 Sanctuary Youth Boosting Facial Night Concentrate 10ml and the 3 lovely free gifts for a total of 7.05 and 150points as well added to my card. Thanks a lot OP. You made my day!!!

I have to disagree with the other ladies and I would deff complain - whats the worst they will do? I very much doubt they will get you to take the free gifts back for a refund as it was a mistake on their part - not yours... You could also say that you work full time and don't have much time to go into store to return them.

They should have told you that the product you ordered was OOS in the first place - and if they say oh why did you get 3 gifts, just say I didn't even realise, they just added to my basket automatically.

My guess is that they will refund you in full or put points onto your advantage card for the inconvenience.
Just tell them that the small sachets you brought were going in a hamper for mothers day and you were dissapointed they didn't come - my guess is that boots probably only pay £1 to sanctuary for the free gifts sets so I would definitley complain if I was you!

Thanks freddiesmum, i nervously called Boots and they've refunded the whole order!!! I was pleased with the £2 a gift set but this is amazing!! Thanks so much for your kind words very much appreciated xx
