Banks to qualify for the 85K protection

Morning All,
Anyone know where i can find a list of the various banks & who owns what ?
(So that each account opened qualifies for the 85K protection) My Mum needs to stash proceeds from sale of house for a few months which she would obviously need to be protected in these times - monthly interest would be a bonus as she will have to use this to pay rent & day to day
