They are little more than modern day Pontius Pilates. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

Just a quick follow-up and feedback from my original post after receiving advice from the great people in this forum:
Basically, I fully intended to take everyones advice and ignore all the threatening letters that I was expecting from Parking Eye who originally "ticketed" my car on 22 February 2012, which is five weeks ago tomorrow.
Since being ticketed I have not heard a dicky-bird since...no reminders, no threatening letters or phone calls.
To be quite honest we were quite looking forward to receiving the "reminders and threats" from Parking Eye because we were so assured by the advisers on here that we should ignore all contact and letters with them, but we haven't received anything.
Does anybody think that is an end to the matter now or could letters still arrive?
First of all check to see if the DVLA have got your right address down on your log-book, and you haven't forgotten to update it when moving. If that is correct than either the first you hear is from the debt collectors asking for silly money (saving money on postage for the 1st couple letters) or you will hear sod-all as they couldn't be bothered paying the £2.50 to the DVLA to get your details writing off the "debt" as a lost cause.
I'm assuming being ticketed as in getting a lovely flyer on your windscreen by a trained monkey rather than the world's most excellent computer system, than it could be possible that the trained number wrote down the wrong registration0 -

I fear for the "Safety Camera (OK, show me a picture of safety!) Partnerships" going the same way.
The big car park owners are the soft underbelly of this symbiotic monster.

It's already been seen with councils adding in "parking penalties" into their "incomings" on their budgets, budgeting for £X a year to be made via parking penalties. Although the council which did this and got caught out I can't remember the name off.0

Thanks again Kite20100 -
They might have decided to use a policy of "if they don't contact us to "appeal" than we won't bother chasing it" to save paying out £2.50 + in fees0

You never know, maybe Parking Spy have employed someone who has a brain cell, or has access to one!:p
They have put two and two together and come up with four:eek:
A car done for not displaying a blue badge but its registered to the keeper via Motorbility they may have twigged the driver or passenger has a blue badge?
Or am I giving them too much credit?:)0 -
Too logical? But you never know.0
