Advice on best deal for pensioner

So...after many weeks and many phone calls I eventually thouht I had this all sorted out.
Silly me:o
It eventually took a letter to the complaints department to get everything resolved. Mum is now on the correct rate for her electric and instead of having a bill for £330 she is actually in credit by £108. Her DD has reduced from £115pm to £44.
I am still really mad with SP. If I hadn't realised (with MSE@s help) what was going on, my poor old Mum would have been shelling out hundreds because of SP's incompetence.
I did ask for some compensation for her but was offered £10 to cover my phone calls. Never mind the hours hanging on the phone and the anguish involved.0
