Hello all, I am just wondering if anybody came accross to similar problem and what did you do...
My partner doesnt check his accout statements (fool) and we have recently move in together and he fould out there is lots of money missing from his account (up to 3k)
I have looked on his bank statement and there are transactions coming out on weekly basic from companies such as:
PSMHELP.COM
EMEMSERVICE.COM
CCBILLEU.Com+1888
and some others
They are taking up to 100 a week from his account. He went to see Lloyds tsb, they gave him fraud line to ring. He did that, they said they can help him. He tried to close the account ( with 200 left on it) they said they cant close it, as there is some transactions going out still (those ones!!!) they manage to close his account on tuesday and gave him 30!!!
What shall he do??? Why the bank would not help him? Is it any chance he can see at least some of his money?

Hi
Last month I had my debit card cloned, and then used on internet sites to buy things, luckily my bank called me as they thought it was unusual activity. Your partner should cancel his debit card immediately.
All the sites you have described are billing providers for !!!!!! sites, you can see this by typing the urls into google. Is is possible your partner joined a few of these sites, not realising that they re-bill monthly unless you cancel them? Then looked on the bank statement and didnt recognise the names they bill under.0 -
The first two you list are payments processors to !!!!!! sites.
The third is also a payment processor.
Has he signed up to such sites in the past?
He should be able to contact them and cancel the subscriptions.
You have the web addresses on the bank statement.0
