HSBC Claim - what seems like the 1st stage...

Hi,
I made a request for information last week and got a response in just 4 days from them receiving it!! A lot more snappy than I was expecting!! Now since I was asking for my loan agreement numbers, they mention in the letter that they assume I am contacting them with regards to PPI claim back and have included what they call a 'PPI Information Table'. This gives me information on how much the PPI was worth against each loan and how much was PPI was paid off on each loan (I re-financed a couple of times).
What I would like to know is if they see my claim as a valid one, could I expect this amount they have confirmed me as paying, back in full?
Thanks in advance folks

If the loans were settled, you will get the whole ppi, less any rebate they gave you if you settled early plus the 8%,this % is taxable,so you should contact HMRC who will advise what you do regarding the tax.
If a loan is still running, the whole ppi is taken off the balance, the monthly payment goes down by the ppi monthly amount and you get the ppi you have paid to date back with 8%.0 -
Hi There,

Sorry for the questions I have read the article but couldn't see if there was a standard complaint letter or if you just do your own accompanied by the questionnaire?
Thanks so much for replying :TMatched Betting Profit- £815!:j0 -

No need to send a letter with it, just the questionnaire will do. You can if you wish to, send a very simple covering letter just to make it more personal but it's not necessary. Just make sure you have put everything you want to say on the questionnaire
