I know I have been stupid and I was just looking to see if anyone had dealt with them. I do feel that the responses I have had are uncalled for I thought this was a friendly site for people looking for advice.
Has no one been in such a state with money that they do stupid things???
I have managed to get most of money back and it was just that these people contacted me and was just looking for advice before I did anything.
But I do feel some people on are just being rude instead of being helpful0 -

They contacted you!
Never even talk to any loan company (read: Broker) that randomly contacts you.
You are not learning anything from your mistakes.0 -
I am learning very much and I didn't go with them just wanted to know if anyone knew about them.
Still can't believe how many scams are out there and feel something needs to be done with these loan brokers have currently reported the one I did deal with.0 -
I feel you are completely missing the point.breakfreeofdebt wrote: »Still can't believe how many scams are out there and feel something needs to be done with these loan brokers have currently reported the one I did deal with.
The reason there are so many of these scams around, is because there are so many people like you. I'm not trying to be negative but it takes a couple of hours to knock up some dodgy looking website, a pittance for a Consumer Credit License and wallop, the money will come rolling in.
These Websites are the modern day equivalent of a guy wearing a stripey shirt, wearing a mask and holding a bag with swag written on it.
You would know in an instant he is a crook, similarly, the website CLEARLY states you are going to be charged a fee, it also says they are not lenders. It take literally seconds to see it as a scam.
We don't have Bobbies stood on street corners looking out for us, similarly, we don't have complete protection every time we go on the Internet.
Don't wander into the Nelson Mandela Estate showing off your bling, don't go into crowded places, beware of pickpockets etc.
Similarly, TAKE SOME SELF MEASURES TO PROTECT YOURSELF ON THE INTERNET. It really is not difficult to spend a few seconds checking who you are dealing with ESPECIALLY if you are throwing out direct access into your bank account.0 -
I do get what you mean but there are times when you are so low and in need of money that sadly all logic goes out the window which most of the time means your money.
I just feel on here was suppose to be for help and advice not for people to misjudge you by your mistake.0 -

If you are looking at these types of websites then presumably you cannot get a loan from a high street lender? If thats the case it sounds like you are not likely to find a loan from anywhere.
Perhaps people can help your with alternatives to borrowing money? it might be worth going over to the debt free wannabe section, starting a new post and explaining the situation you are in and asking for alternative suggestions - perhaps post up a statement of affairs for people to be able to offer some advice on how you can change your finances without needing to borrow money?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
