I know it's somewhere on south side of Glasgow, maybe Thornliebank or Barrhead direction. Maybe somebody else on here knows it.
Ohh yes... that narrows it down... I think I know the one... :rotfl:

Look, see here, here it is. Guaranteed fail every time, or a pass if you spend £200 to have the failures fixed.

Your cars going to need brake disks, pads, shock absorbers and exhaust (potentially fatal defects here madam) but there's good news, you only owe us £10 for the MoT :rotfl:

Hmm, I thought. Given that the MOT test doesn't involve removing the wheels I wonder how they'd come to that conclusion.

On the car I just bought, I looked at the discs and pads through the holes in the alloy wheels.....

    yeah but....

Anything they could SEE wrong with the pads or disks (scoring, wear, contamination etc) has it's own RfR within the MOT scheme and should have shown up for THAT on the certificate as well as the imbalance.

As SB said above, it's a percentage game and they expect to get the imbalance sorted out easily and in that price.
On the point of cheap MOTs, have a search in your area, theres one in Glasgow and one in Greenock, both half an hours easy drive for me charging £9.99. Would I use them? No.

Did you miss the last part of his post: Would I use them? No...

Why do you think, he wouldn't use them?
Is it anything to do with what I said, earlier on... about there being a "catch"... :)
