GE Money/Ocean/ "Alabaster"..? Advice Please.!!!

Hi All, Newbie to the site, but not to PPi Reclaim
.
£2500-00 -ppi- Welcome Finance:j
£1800-00 - Bank Charges ( dont ask..!)Barclays:j
£1100-00 -ppi- HSBC:j
.

But Im stuck and its doing my BANANA In.!!

Took a loan out with GE Money in 2005 through Ocean Finance as Broker.
Wrote to GE as Mis-sold PPI. The told me a company called "Alabaster" supplied the PPI (never heard of them) and they went down the pan in 2005. GE not interested and got a lovely FOB of letter, which I have received many of before, but persist and ye shall succeed..:D

So... Who owes me my Mis-sold PPI.?
Since "Alabaster" went belly up I paid my loan repayments to GE Money for another 5 years, but who was my ppi paid to for that period and who should I HIT for it. Ive become quite a seasoned re-claimer, but lawfully who legally has my money.?
My instinct tells me GE Money as I paid them all preiums for 8 years..

I would like to say that its a pleasure to see so many Success stories without using those "Vulture ppi claim" villans on the WEB..

p.s never had to go through SAR or DSAR processes, all my successes are due to (dare i say) threatening letters:A so advice pleease.

You feel its GE that owe you money but they dont. You are claiming that your PPI has been mis-sold, but you used a broker so you need to complain to them (Ocean Finance)

You cant tell a company they mis-sold you something when they didnt sell you anything!!!
  • roonaldo, Thanks.....

So you reckon Ocean as they were the Broker.? Wasnt quite sure as Alabaster had been folded as a company.

What would be your next step, as I dont have a copy of the ppi agreement.

    Thanks for your help..:)

if you feel it was mis-sold then just bang out a complaint letter to ocean finance.
