Miss sold Woolwich life ins

Hi is there anyone out there who has experienced this or has any suggestions? Back in Nov 2002 I remortgaged with the Woolwich and took all my life Ins and PPI from my current lender to them and requested the same as already had. To cut a long story short there was a big mess up with our application and we were dealt with by several people. Because of this we were sold life ins under 'Woolwich Life' that ran prior Oct 2001 to Legal and General taking over. We had to return to branch to resign documents and through no fault of our own (admitted by the branch manager) we signed 2 identical documents one headed 'Woolwich Life' and one headed 'Legal and General'. We were paying twice every month for same insurance though Woolwich Life should've ceased! By the time we realised we were owed £600+ but Woolwich were being taken over by Barclays and even after reporting to finantial ombussmen at the time we had no luck! Help!!!!

If the FOS have rejected your complaint then it is effectively the end of the road. You could consider legal action but if the FOS have rejected it then the odds of court success are unlikely.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
