Cost of Tobacco in Spain, Salou??

Hi, does anyone know the cost of Lambert & Butler and Royals in Salou? Also the cost of 10 pk of 50g Golden Virginia tobacco?

Dont know About Lambert and butler prices but they are my mums fave brand and she says the Spanish cigs L&H ( white packet red stripe) are identical- they cost about 23 euros for 200

So give and take abit about £16 for the white pack. I reckon the silver pack will be slightly dearer, maybe £20. Not bad. Thanks alot :-)

For really cheap fags, make dubrovnik your next holiday. Its beautiful, unspoilt and the fags are £11 for 200.

Spanish airport prices for fags are generally £18-24 depending on brand.

OR, Quit smoking, save the money you would have spent, and get TWO holidays in next year!:rotfl: :rotfl:

It was £26 for L&B in September and it was £22 for the golden virginia. Its gone really dear in Spain now because all the tabacs are owned by the government and they have stopped shops from selling them at all because they were being under cut.

Not sure prices in spain but flying from Gatwick Golden Virgina were £66 KG (20 pouches) and in Maldives B & H 400 for £12.50 .....and local cigs from market on male 50 ciggies for a DOLLAR and I am still coughin 2 weeks later !!!

Thanks for all the replies. It sounds like the prices are roughly what i thought they were. I know Luxemberg is cheap for cigs but i can't find a cheap flight from Manchester or Liverpool or else i'd go there. Spain prices are still alot cheaper than UK prices and i've found cheap flights for there so looks like Spain here i come :j

The tabacs shop is a little cheaper than the airport, so don't be tempted to wait and buy some on the way home there.

I won't. I'll be heading straight into town to stock up. Plan on returning the same day so will have to plan the flights carefully to give us enough time to get into town and back.

Here is a link to a tobacco shop, this one is in Benidorm but as stated earlier, prices are regulated by the Government so should be the same all over. LINK

Also note the opening times, usually shut Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday, although this may vary in resorts, I believe this to be the norm.

Couple of years since I've been to Beni, but the stores in Pompy's link often had bottles of wine or spirits strapped to 800s or 1000s of certain brands - could do your booze shopping at the same time...
