Sale of house

I will shortly have a house to sell which belonged to my mother. It is likeley to sell in the region of between £60,00 to £70,000. What would be the best way to invest this? I intend to give amounts to my three sons.

    what do you want to do, how much risk are you willing to take ?

    savings account = low risk low reward stockmarket = high risk higher reward

    would u like a regular income or just want to leave it to grow
