Which carrier do you use to send out stuff ?

Just wondered which carriers everyone is using 
I used to use parcel2go, but they have changed a bit since I last used them....got more expensive.
I'm selling off my electrical tools at the moment....one of them I charged £15 for carriage...thinkin it was plenty to get the parcel sent. When I came to price up with parcel2go it came to £24 inc insurance(£500 item).
Who's cheapest for collection and deliver with signature ?
