Sorry another stupid question

How do you weigh the big things you sell on ebay? For instance I am going to sell a Britax Eclipse Si carseat and I will get it delivered by one of the services such as parcels2go or someone but I have no idea how much it weighs? Hope its not too stupid

  • If you are strong enough to lift it how about standing on the scales you use to weigh yourself with the item and then subtract your weight. That way you'll be left with the weight of the item.
    :D
  • Most of these couriers charge for up to 31kg so you will be well within your limits with the car seat .
Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
    Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !
  • Just to say that the car seat will weigh about 7.3kg before any packaging ok .
    hope this helps
