Door handle advice please

We have a reasonably old front door. It is double glazed, but not a upvc like the new ones are.

The handle seems a bit rubbish on the outside and think it will probably fail before long. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a replacement?

The ones of seen on various websites are really narrow (for the new style doors)

Thanks, they all look like they are for the new style upvc doors and won't fit mine?

Provided that you get the right spindle size and ideally , but not essential , the fixing holes match the backplates it makes no difference when replacing just the handles. Look on Ebay , measure carefully , and you will find a replacement. Easy job.

you can still buy traditional lever handles if you look around.
