What would class as high energy usage, 2 bed flat?

We've recently received our first bill for our 2 bedroom flat, there are 2 of us living there and my partner works from home, although he tends to stick to one (small) room most of the working day. The kWh we are reported to have used in the 6.5 months since we moved in is a little over 6000, and between November 24th & February 20th (the time of actual meter readings) we have 3660 kWh & I was wondering whether this is about normal.
Everything in the flat is electric (not economy 7) we have storage heaters in every room, one of which is on in the evening if required, and an immersion heater. I do use the dishwasher, and use the washing machine enough to keep 2 people in clean clothes! (1-2 times a week)

It just seems to be a lot more than I was expecting, & so as I said Im wondering what normal-ish wouls be about. I am waiting for an energy meter to be sent out so I can see what we actually use.

Thanks!

You don't have E7 but have electric storage heaters and an immersion heater. Are you sure it's not E7 and are you sure the heaters are storage heaters. You should be on E7. If you are home all the time loading up the storage heaters every night and using some other form of heating later in the evening then 6000kWh over 6.5 months may be OK. The immersion heater will be using several kWh each night reheating the hot water.

I'm pretty sure it's not E7, my bill just quotes on a regular tariff not for night and day. They're definitely storage heaters, although I try to keep them off as much as possible! The water heater is only on for an hour a day too. I've worked it out at around 29kW a day, which still seems a little high to me :/

Can you post the make and model of your 'storage heaters' please? If they are on in the evening, they are clearly not on E7, as that is only available for 7 hours between midnight and 8am, depending on region.
While there is sometimes a case for being on E7 without storage heaters, there can be no sense in having storage heaters wired to a standard rate meter-it would be completely pointless. So for that reason, I do not think you have storage heaters. if you do, you urgently need to get them rewired and an E7 meter installing (and a switch to a E7 tariff). Do you definitely not have a dual rate meter fitted?
How much were you expecting? Remember that if you have come from a property with gas CH and DHW, electric heating on a single rate tariff will cost about 3 times as much.
NB: you don't need an energy meter to tell you what you use-you already have a far more accurate device to do that-it's called your electricity meter!

It's a sunhouse SPHN200, so its definitely a storage heater. Would it not show on my bill if it was E7? As I already said, I'm very very sure we're not. There's no way we can get changed if not anyway, as we are tenants in a large new build block of flats - we can't even check the meter ourselves as it's in a locked outbuilding that only the landlord/letting agents can get to! Looking into the model for you gave me a big indication as to where a chunk of the units were coming from anyway, these 2kW heaters will be playing a good part in it!!

The Sunhouse SPHN200 is a standard panel heater-not a night storage heater. Various outputs, 2Kw is the largest.
So you are running everything on singe rate tariff electricity-typically 3 times more than heating by gas.
You are by law entitled to have reasonable access to the meter, as is the supplier-enforce your rights.
