Quidco - Load of rubbish

Second time now that something has failed to track recently. I submitted a ticket to raise a claim and nearly 2 weeks later, still not a word from them.

Just a load of b*ll**ks if you ask me.

I too have had a couple of non-tracked purchases but overall I'm happy with the £1090 that has tracked over the last 5 years.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Well whichever retailer it was from you know to avoid in the future, or use other cashback or loyalty card schemes.

Like I've had to raise 2 claims with Pizza Hut Delivery, but I'm not expecting the claims to be sorted within 2 weeks. I'll be annoyed after about 5-6 weeks. the key with Quidco - patience.
  • I use https://www.TopCashBack.co.uk is that any good? At least they are honest to let you know what Amazon UK do not do cashback, I go through the Nectar site for that.
  • It is really annoying when things don't track but some you win eventually. Got a big purchase tracked after 2 months last Summer and yesterday, it was confirmed. Only had to raise the query once, so it often goes right. TBH only had one purchase in two years to totally disappear and Quidco were really apologetic. To be fair in the small print was a warning that that particular company did not support untracked queries and of course, I hadn't read it, so I double check now.

Another purchase that tracked straight away only appeared as confirmed today after nearly 18 months.

Looking forward to £70 ish at the end of the month.

As long as you are not waiting on the cash back to juggle your finances, it's a great website. You just need a lot of patience.

Having said that if you ask my opinion on a day something doesn't initially track you may get a different post. But today I'm happy and a fan.

That is interesting, do you get Nectar points then through Amazon? I use them a lot but was not aware of this?

Yes through nectar web site. To maximise your money, you can get cashback paid via Amazon plus 5% added on top (takes a few days for code to come) then add code to amazon gift code and go through nectar

I agree re quidco, never use them, to think when they first started they where A+ I now use topcashback far better and better customer service.
  • I factored in the Quidco cashback in with taking a deal in the first place. If I'm not getting the cashback then I'd rather not have the deal either.

I used to get loads of cashback years ago but nothing seems to track these days. And when you contact Quidco they never reply. So we are meant to just put up with shoddy customer service because we are getting "free money". But if it was any other company we'd be paying a service for you would not expect this treatment.

Why not use a browser just for cashback. Most of my purchases track fine I use tcb, occasionally I have to raise a ticket but I always get paid. It does take months to get cashback, insurance is usually very slow 6-9 months before you get paid

you should never factor the cashback into the equation because it's not guaranteed.
