Barclaycard FAP

Helloooo,

I have just tried to do a claim on my Barclay card FAP (Family accident plan) They have wrote back saying that I had agreed the Policy over the phone one evening back in august 2001 and that the first 2 months are free and that I had the right to cancellel at anytime.

I cant remember this conversation and only being a 26 year old why would I want family accident plan.

They have even had the wrong address for me on the policy for the last 6 years. When I asked to see the policy it didn't even have the address on it.

Could some one help with what I need to do next...?????

Thanks

Plugster.

Write back to them and explain why you would not have wanted the family plan and ask for the recording they have of you taking this FAP.
  • Thanks amersall I will give that ago and let you know how I get on.

    Good luck.
  • Hi Plugster,

Please can you let me know if you made any progress on this, as I am in a similar position to you and wish to reclaim it, as I feel that I was bullied into it.

    Thanks,

I see no point in bumping all these old threads. The posters concerned have never returned to the forum.

Then put a complaint in rather than dragging up all these old threads! None of these original posters have been here for months.
