Went with first:utility, wish I hadn't (but need a smart meter)
Hi guys,
I've recently switched to first:utility, at the time it seemed to be a really good deal and they had a smart meter offer which I really wanted (my house is a detached, but for some odd reason I need to go into next doors garden to read my meters and they're always very nice/helpful but I feel like I'm intruding) but anyway, since the recent cuts my tariff now is £250 more than what I was paying on British Gas, and around £500 more than the cheapest tariff out there right now! (npower GoFix 11)
I've only been with first:utility for a couple of months, and only had my smart meter for a week (!) but damn, £500 is a lot to pay just for that convinience and I'm thinking I need to switch.
Can anyone please recommend another tariff I could go with that'd let me keep my smart meter? ;_; Thank you
