I've just tried to contact HSBC via telephone as I want to pay off a bit towards my credit card, when I rang up though they asked for a (automated btw) telephone security key which I have no idea what it is? Is this anything to do with the secure key/IB log on?
Anyone who can help me please do!

Its the number that they used to ask for part of when using internet banking before they introduced the secure key.
If you don't know what it is, try putting in any digits and when you get through to someone they can reset it..
EDIT: The HSBC website quotes 0845 600 2290 'To reset your security number'.
