HELP! REALLY old House of Fraser / Frasercard account

Hello,
I know I took out a House of Fraser card back about 10 years (maybe more) ago. At the time I finally paid it off and cut it up - and disposed of any paperwork with it!
How can I get this account investigated when I'm unsure about dates or even an account number?

You can ask them if they have any evidence but I doubt they will.
It is probable that you cannot even prove you an account with them. Even if you can, you have then got to show that you actually had PPI. That is likely to be even more difficult.
If you get over those two hurdles, you have to prove that it was unsuitable for you.
Then you have to prove that it was the fault of the firm that it was unsuitable.
Then you have, if necessary, got to do this through the courts. This is because House of Fraser was never regulated by the FSA and so FOS cannot help with a sale before 14 January 2005.
You are going to find it difficult to do that with no evidence.0 -
