Converting sterling to euro's for wedding

Hi All,

I am getting married in the west of Ireland and would like some advice on converting sterling to euro.

I will be converting a few thousand into euro's and was wondering is it the right time to do it now? The wedding is in May so its only 3 months away. Recently the euro conversion has been getting better every month, is the Greece bailout likely to effect the current conversion rate for the better or worse?

Also are there any good tips for converting large amounts of money? specialist companies or preferable banks?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Austin.
