    Morning,
Lou what wonderful news, sending you lots of positive vibes x my neice is finally in her 3rd trimester after 7 years of miscarriages so hopefully this will be your year too x DS will probably be picking up any anxieties you're feeling so I wouldn't worry about the bedwetting, maybe use pullups for now & try again when things are a bit more settled :)
Adelite & Essex-girl good luck wishes for you & anyone else applying for jobs x
Hugs to Molly, Tru, BossyMoo & anyone else having a tough time x
Last nights productive use of the small hours means I now have neat & tidy kitchen drawers, did manage to get to sleep around 4 but was up again at 7.30 :(so will be having a nap later.
Hope everyone has a good day,
    Hugs, spoons & hi5's all round x

It's only a bargain if you were going to buy it anyway!
  • LW - I admire your spirit, hope things go well for you.
Lou - Congrats and take care. Wouldn't worry about DS at the mo, plenty of time.

    Morning All

Well, still off work. Felt better last night but back still sore this morning, roll on Friday when I will be dealt with (Monogran!).

Had sausage (and mash for DD) last night, the first time I have tried Aldo's sausages and I have to say they were lovely, will certainly buy them again. I am trying to empty the freezer at the mo so we have chicken breast from there tonight. Bought one of those herb sachets with the bag so will give it a go.
Bought some sachets of marinade from Home Bargains on Saturday which were only 10p, looked at them this morning and they went out of date on 31 Jan! I know I only spent 40p on them altogether but feel a little ripped off, should they not tell you?

Anyway, WM and DW on, not much else to do. Re-applying for seasonal job I had last year but they want a CV and I don't have one so will do that later.

    Take care. XX
  • Morning all lou congratulations honey ,don't stress about the house it will still be there you are nesting your new little one and thats the most important thing at the moment .As for your toddler so he gets wet, just keep on hanging in, he will get it right eventually its not something you need to worry about too much.Your health is the most important thing. So feet up and relax your body is working hard enough producing a new little person

Well I've got the day off from the school run so I had a wee lie-in until 8 which was nice but felt so odd,but I took a cuppa and my book back to bed for awhile :):) Not too sure what i sahll be doing today but I think it will involve basically not a lot :):) Its nice to have a day of doing nothing for a change no watching the clock to see where I have to be.My eldest DD emailed me to say she has to go to the bank nearby to where I live at some point today so I shall get a phone call from her to get the kettle on no doubt.I had a nice phot emailed to me from my DGS Danny who is having a ball in NYC with his girlfriend at the moment.
Right I'm off to have a shower and a large cup of coffee Have a nice day everyone whatever you are doing
    Cheers JackieO xxx
  • Hi everyone
Congratulation Lou:) positive vibes being sent for you and DS.

Raining here at the moment, but only going out to DGD's school to help her on a project that parents and grandparents can participate in, something to do with the RNLI and building a lighthouse :)

Back at work tomorrow so going to sort finances/bills out and do a new menu plan for the following 4 weeks and do a quick clean through, thats my day really, not going to get my sewing etc out as I get carried away and nothing else gets done:rotfl:
Dinner is tuna pasta bake that I made last night and some left over pancakes for afters - yummy:)

    Take care all

Hi all – and happy belated birthday Julie67. And happy birthday Shez.

Thanks, everyone who said they liked Dylan's picture – he is a lovely dog, 11 years old, and all he wants is lots of cuddles.:o I can't wait til March 16th, when he's coming back for a 10 day stay!:D

Molly I hope little Molly-Dog's poor tummy is feeling better. I agree, you should get wills sorted out – once it's done you can forget all about it and get on with the rest of your life!:o

Lou sticky vibes for you – and special Wolfy posi-vibes.;)

I have a top to wash by hand, and need to give the loo and wash basin a good scrub (we do the bath together, as I can't get the bath lift out by myself), so a fun day for me (!):D

From memory, I think it's jacket spuds with baked beans and veggie hot-dogs tonight - I must double-check the meal plan in a moment. I hope that's it, because I didn't get Mr LW to prep any veggies last night!!:rotfl:

    Morning all!

    Happy birthday Shez!

Congrats Lou, fab news, and take it easy! I worried when I was pregnant with Spud, was I too sick, not sick enough, did I feel right, etc, but it all worked out, and truthfully worrying about it just gave me a few (more) grey hairs!

Essex girl and Adelight, fingers crossed for you both :)

Wet and grey here today, so it's lovely that I'm not going anywhere today, mind you as the car was written off by the insurance co there isn't really anyway of getting anywhere lol, not unless I just fancy a walk up the lane!

OH cleared some of the rubbish from the garden yesterday, and dug over the potato patch, so I quickly grabbed the seed potatoes and onions and gave them to him to stick in! Sneaky eh? Covered over one of the raised beds using the top wire part from the now defunct indoor rabbit hutch, bed is just bare earth on one half, and next door's cats have been visiting it :-/ Hoping to pop to Aldi/Lidl later in the week and have a look at their fruit trees and garden bits, and then get some more done at the weekend.

OS stuff planned for today: usual housework stuff, ironing, cooking up some cupcakes and Afghan pasties for snacks, seeing if I can get ahead and sort next week's mealplan, farr about with money and savings, and a spot of knitting :)

    Meals for today:
Lunch: packed lunches for girls, leftover veg lasagne for me, ds and oh.
Dinner: steak pie/veg pie, mini roasties, parsnips, cabbage and carrots

BM and WM and DW are all done, and Spud is asleep next to me at the mo, so I'm taking advantage of the peace to play on the laptop and have a cuppa! Have a good day all, and hugs to all in need xxx

    Morning all.

Lou: What brilliant news! You must be so excited - inbetween the tiredness/nausea/nervousness etc.
I will be keeping everything crossed for you, so if you see a grotesquely contorted body hobbling along the street you'll know it's me keeping everything crossed for you. My future DIL is about a week ahead of you and she is also apprehensive. Her son is 21, (she was a schoolgirl Mum, but doesn't fit into any of the stereotypes you might be thinking of) and my DS has a 10 year-old son so they are a bit out of practice.

Red Ruby: Every year for the past 50 odd years I have said, "We must have pancakes more often." How many times do you suppose we have had pancakes on any other day than
    Shrove Tuesday? Dead right!

MrsD: Yep! I thought it was you I saw battling the wind. I was just the other side of the water exercising on the sofa. You know - up, down, up down - then the other eyelid.

I'm not really on here lurking and posting and generally wasting time, I'm actually slaving away writing a church magazine. Yes, I am.

They are having a Lunch Club next door and as it's Roast Lamb today I'll be having a plateful brought round for me soon. Great, a sandwich will do for tonight and that's today catered for.

Giving a talk to some Women's meeting this afternoon on my trip to the Mission Hospital and poorest villages in India. I've plenty of photos and a video so I can just burble in between them.

Have a good afternoon everyone and lots of healing thoughts and prayers to those who need/want them.

thanks everyone. i am seeing gp later as i had a little bit of a bleed this morning accompanied with a bit of pain, thankfully it has all gone now. i suspect i may have a uti. quite prone to them and recognise the sypmtoms.

just having a very chilled day with ds. we are both in pj's watching dvds on bed. eating our lunch in bed as i type... dont care today :o i must put a load of washing on though or ds wont have any bedding tonight :o

my laptop did its usual update and now my IE has changed and its horrible

tuna steaks are for dinner but hubby has said he will do it when he gets home. taken some lasagne out the freezer for ds's dinner so all i need to do is bung that in the microwave later.
