Barclays/EGG

I hope this the right place to post this.
I have started my PPi journey after reading the posts on here.
I contacted Barclaycard re a Egg loan, and credit card they said they will look at the loan first. Took my complaint over the phone and said they would contact me in 5 working days this was done on the 31/1 received letter today stating following our letter dated 9/2 (which I never received) they have carried out further investigations and cannot locate a policy in my name and therefore my complaint cannot be upheld.. I have provided them with my previous address, date of birth just do not have account number. I contacted their robotic staff and was told there is nothing more they can do as they have taken over the Egg bussiness and my files could be in archaive...
What can i do now if anything. Thank you .:mad:

Hi, I managed to track my egg loan account number through my Halifax
Online banking account as goes back many years and you can filter on different criteria.
May also be worth trying to login into you egg account online and see if you have any account info there.

Hi LynsCam, if you have your Egg account number without having to do a SAR and you have a reason for mis sale go straight to filling in the questionnaire and fire it off by recorded delivery, keep copies of everything you send or receive back

Thank you for your reply, I have got the address for egg its from this site Jenny gordon ,data protection manager egg plc, holboorn London. Do I send a SAR? Thanks all advice appreciated:o

I think loans were bought by Britannica Moorgate,so maybe try contacting them as well. Credit cards were bought by Barclaycard.
