Welcome Success

Hi

I claimed back missold ppi from Welcome on loans of £2000, £5000, £7500 and £10000 as started may 2005 and paid off last one in Dec 2006 in full, refinanced from £2000 to £10000 however ppi recvd was only £1108
:j
and i was chuffed with this but thought this would be more as ppi paperwork on the £2000 was £466.

( Info i claimed 18th january and money in my account 15th February .)

Anyway final paperwork through stated lots of account numbers from what i think is before 2005 and my question is can i claim these as account numbers included on paperwork but zeros in all the columns when i know i had ppi on them all , is it blank due to before 2005, does anyway know??????

  • Seems an awfully low amount given the size of the loans and that Welcome are know to have added PPI without borrowers knowledge. i would query pay out.

My mum got letter back in august last year from FSA re Welcome and we're still waiting on an outcome as my late father used a different date of birth. Been a total nightmare dealing with the FSA but we seem to be at the "final" stage and refund quoted was nearly £700.

They did advise use to pursue 4 other loans my dad have with Welcome.

    SO GO FOR IT!!!!!
  • PS if PPI on £2k was £466 = £233 per £1000?

So adding up your total loans refund should have been alot higher.

    Total loans £24,500 would = £5708!!!!
  • I know i thought that but they reckon that rebate was about £2500 from the last one when i settled but i dont remember that!!!!!

They will have taken off any rebate off from the loan you settled, that is why the ppi seems low.
