As soon as we got her there she started shaking and trying to hide under the chair. When inside the room we had to put her on the table. She was shaking so much the table started rattling then she did a complete Scooby doo and jumped into hubbies arms and hid her face whilst trying to sit on his shoulder. The vet couldn't giver her the antibiotic injection for about 5 minutes because he was laughing to much.
He did say though lurchers are not well know for being brave
This has given me a much needed belly laugh - thank-you:T (reminds me of my old lurcher and my current greyhound, proper wusses)0 -

Bagga is ok at the Vets, very good infact, but I have to use a grinder on his nails as he throws a right fit when I try to clip his nails.
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

Some brilliant roaching action going on here! My grey doesn't DO roaching much - when she does she gets too relaxed and generally falls off the sofa.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

He is 9 and a half, we got him from The Dogs Trust when he was about 8/9 weeks old...Still charges around after his ball..But is he a total couch potato ( or should I say bed potato lol) at home0 -
OMG this is just how Sally our staffi x lurcher rescue dog is on the sofa at night time, she also has to hold on to her " daddy" when at the vet and howls until she gets out the vets room. She has to sleep at night with a blankie over her head as well.adviceforall wrote: »We have a lurcher and he was also at the vets today as he has a corn on his pad, the vet took the top of the corn off today to try and ease the pressure and he just let him, no howling, no crying, yelping or weeing
