Welcome Finance PPI claim experiences

I have been contacted for a PPI claim and would like to know how much i'm looking at.
I had a loan in Jan 2007 for £1000 over 36 months (about £115 a month) then a consollidation in Feb 2008 for £1800 but was paying £47 a month over 62 months. Any ideas how much i'm likely to get back or how much people who borrowed similar amouts got back?
Thanks in advance

Who contacted you?.0

The FSCS sent me a letter saying I had PPI on my loan and they were going to investigate my case.0

we recently got the same letter and it was done and dusted in about 4 weeks although it was used to wipe off 75% of the loan:)0

I cleared the loan in april last year paying off £1300, so I will actually get a cheque hopefully.0

thats super, Welcome are mucking me about and i'm still trying to get an application form. They are pushing me through hoops just to get the application form and i'm starting to get frustrated now.
I'm glad to hear that they aren't too slow once its actually been done.0 -
Hi all. This is the first time I have posted. I was contacted by FSCS who sent me a form to fill in regarding two old loans with Welcome from quite a few years ago. 07 I think. I rang them up at FSCS and they told me to send the forms back. I filled in the form and within three weeks £757.66 had landed in my bank. Now, that got the old brain ticking! I didnt think for one minute I would receive anything from this firm, but I did and these type of things never happen to me. Now I'm really into this PPI claiming business, and have quite a few more to pursue. Good luck to you all.0
