question regarding home phone and starting a new contract before moving house

I've been with BT a few years and not under any contract. I hope to be moving house within the next year. I have already bought the new house which is under renovation.
I know for a fact we will need a new line and a new socket installing in the new house.
To avoid the astonomical cost that BT charge to install a new line/sockets I was hoping to go with someone like Sky - I already have Sky TV and will probably move from O2 to Sky Internet and phone if they give me a good deal.
With me so far ? :money:
Good!
Question is, do I move landline/Internet supplier now, or wait until I move in to the new house? Bear in mind my main motives for moving are , or will be to ..
(a) avoid paying the £100+ BT fee for a new line.
(b) Sky usually charge around £20 - £40 depending on offers to activate and install a new line.
I'm perfectly happy with O2's legacy unlimited package for broadband but will move to another unlimited package if it saves costs.
Thanks in advance for any help.

See what Sky offer, if it's too pricey, take a look at the current Post Office landline deal. Several threads on this board about it.0
