in Credit cards
Has anyone heard about why card company MBNA plans to charge customers for being in credit? I just caught the end of the Working Lunch programme and missed the whole story. I think it also said something about also charging for accounts that are rarely used.
Thanks

It's because dormant accounts cost the company money to maintain. If a customer has an account they don't want to use then they should close it. If they insist on keeping it open it's only right the company makes a little money from it.0
