Sainsbury's online price freeze June 2013
Options
I'm looking into switching my gas and electricity as my current deal runs out on 1st April. The cheapest tariff that comes up for me is the Sainsbury's online price freeze June 2013. I've had a quick look at the terms and conditions and it says that there is no cancellation fee, and I can't see anything about losing any discounts if I move away from Sainsbury's. Have I missed something? It doesn't quite seem right to me, having looked at a few tariffs they usually mention losing the discount if you move, or a fee.
Can anyone spot anything i've missed?

Correct, there is no ETC on that tariff. Online a/c management is compulsory though (no paper bills).

I'd be surprised if it's the cheapest tariff though. Sainsbury's Energy is a just a brand of British Gas.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Thanks, not sure why you are surprised, like I wrote they came up as the cheapest. It looks as though the tariff has been launched today though, does this mean in your experience that BG will launch one undercutting Sainsbury's?0 -
Like I said, it is a BG tariff, so why would they undercut it?
I've never seen a Sainsbury's tariff coming up in the cheapest ones before, that's why.
Edit: yes it's new, and is coming up only 4th cheapest for my region and consumption. The lack of ETC appeals, though personally I would't take a fix at current prices if there was an ETC.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Npower have a £120 cashback deal if you prefer a fixed deal with topcashback its fixed to May2013 and I found it cheaper than my current supplier British gas who claim I am already on there cheapest tariff0
