They are a Towergate brand and were originally designed to be sold by doorstep salesmen who frequently deal with the sub prime market (though its not limited to that). They have limited direct distribution as you will note from their website, their quote and buy link passes you to another organisation which is only partially white labeled to Paymentshield.

The product did have the redeeming feature of only being a monthly policy with an annual review thus meaning cancellation charges dont exist as worst case is you just cancel it from the end of the month.

I have to admit I did limited research and am referring to their defaqto rating.

That's a big redeeming feature (for me personally); Mine was set up by Scarlett Protect, I have no cancellation charges and only pay 10 months in 12. I am biased as I have been recommending them like crazy to my friends as they offer a referral scheme.

As the OP was seems to be in the market and it doesn't cost anything for a quote, I figured it wouldn't hurt
