in honour of our loyal friend
the rules of weddings we will bend
instead of spending money on you
we're giving it to a cause thats true
a cure for cancer can be found
but for that they need every pound
please wear this badge all the time
the thought of it made us rhyme

Ooooh anyone wanna help me with mine to put in the invite. I want a poem that says something about presents can be either gift list or money for our home decorating etc. I can find poems for either gift list or money but not for both..... x

We'd love so much for you to come and join our celebration

We hope there's something suitable upon our Wedding List

If nothing takes your fancy, then p'raps you could donate
Some modest funds to buy the goods so we can decorate

And when our home is up to scratch, then welcome you will be

We've no pretty favours, with almonds within,
Instead we are giving a Charity Pin

As the groom has been poorly, we decided, you see
To support super "Orchid" - it's the male Charity
