unable to delete folder

in Techie Stuff
i created a folder on my desktop and
now i am unable to delete it,
i right click, select delete and nothing happens.
i can delete any other folder.
using vista premium if that helps.
its not a big problem because the folder is empty, just annoying.

Try using Unlocker - http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/. Not sure if it works on Vista, though.0

Have you checked the folder properties?
It could be read-only which may cause it to be undeletable in Vista.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

I use move on boot for similar problems. Again not sure if it will work with vista, but a great wee piece of software on XP. The site does say suitable for win "all" so worth a try.

Just for interest, what is the name of the folder?

right click on folder --> security tab and check you have full control to that folder. May be slightly different on the premium edition, im using business edt.0

folder has no name and it will not let me give it a name.
