    Well great thing is you can have MS Office and Openoffice installed at the same time and can switch between the two to easily compare them. I personally use MS Office (although have openoffice as backup, it's better at dealing with corrupted files) since I use a few apps and things that are only compatible with MS stuff so is less hassle for me.
