I have an bin on and a guy has been sending me questions asking me if I have more and how many.
I answered by saying yes how many would he be looking for.
He then emailed me back saying "Give me quantities and prices, please."
which sounded a bit abrupt to me,anyway I replied saying I sell them in lots of xx for xx amount xx p&p and I could offer a p&p discount depending on how many you buy.
He has now asked again how many I have in total.
I don't want to tell him as if he was genuine surely he would tell me how many he was after and I could tell him if I had that many.
I am also cautious about other sellers ect just phishing.
I have replied to him three times and his latest message has asked again how many I have.
I have checked him out and he has two accounts opened 4 years ago one has recently become active with feedback from 5 e-books he has bought.
I have not replied to his latest message left last night, should I just ignore him or reply I wouldn't know what to say.

There's another thread with a similar theme to this

it could be possible that you are selling an item that he can't get cheaper elsewhere but can sell it at a higher price than you are.0 -
I would just say to him that you will be listing them in the future and for him to mark you as a favourite seller.
He can then watch and bid if he wants any more.;)0 -
Possibly a competitor? Check your pricing and make sure you aren't too cheap.
With these guys I like to get an order under my belt before I start offering them huge quantities. Why not offer him a fairly small number an tell him if that goes OK you can order more and take it from there. Explain thta you need to build up a relationship first.
Once you have done that you will obviously sell direct and save a fortune on EBay/PayPal fees etc.0 -
Thanks for the replies, don't know if I just have a suspicious nature.
I don't have a regular stock of things just whatever comes my way.
The item in question is not something you would sell on you would only buy it if you wanted to use them yourself.
I will possibly answer him later,I feel guilty if I don't in case they are genuine though I don't hold out any hope.
The thing that bothers me is the feedback of 5 with ebooks only within the last week or two.0
