Quidco poll - how long have YOU waited for a deal to be confirmed?

Has anyone signed up for (anything) via quidco, and had to wait more than the five months (so far!) that I have (plus a possible 8 weeks extra, for them to 'investigate'..??), before getting cashback confirmed?

Below is an excerpt of a reply to a complaint I raised- Having made just polite enquiries to date, and waiting for their stated 5 month (for this supplier) expected payment turnaround to pass..

It seems Tesco are washing their hands of it all, as no-one I have been able to talk to is willing (or knows who would) take this up further?..


"I'm so sorry that your payment is taking longer than we would normally like. However, we are aware of this issue and our payments team are already on the case for you.

I would be very grateful if you could give us up to another 8 weeks in order to obtain your payment for you, as various parties (BM- who are these mysterious 3rd parties ??) are involved in the process and this will give us chance to establish where the delay is originating and to get this resolved for you.

Please be assured that we don't find delays of this nature acceptable and we are doing all we can behind the scenes to make them a thing of the past."


PS- a bit of an after thought..

i wonder what timescales are originally negotiated, when they take on suppliers..

and are the c/b co's taking the mick by getting commission much earlier than stated, and making people wait so they can earn some interest?

for final poll choice, 6+ can also include 'still waiting' !

2 years?! what feeble excuse did they come up with, for that?!

It wont be Quido's fault for it, it's the retailer. I'm still waiting on about 50p worth of cashback from iTunes! It's tracked, just not confirmed. My brother had to wait 2 year from Ladbrokes, luckily he won loads of money when he was betting the amount to earn the cashback, so he wasn't as bothered by it!

I terminated my Quidco account 2 years ago, far too much hassle , tell lots of lies and could not give a toss about their customers.

Topcashback is far superior IMHO !
