Huggies little swimmers price matched. They are a great buy if you have the £2 coupon from the Asda Huggies Newborn boxes.

Yes butter and spread freezes fine!

Thanks I have about 10 packets in the fridge and some more coupons to spend today. Does anyone know if the Betty's are still pricematching today?

Tesco are currently running an offer "in selected stores", with the following for £5:

Whole Medium Chicken (1.6Kg) [Tesco Price: £4.69; Asda: N/A]
    Cooking Onions Pack [£1; £1]
Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley [80p; N/A]
    Unwaxed Lemons Pack [£1.80; £1]
    Finest Elf Potatoes 1.5Kg [£2; N/A]

The price checker thus gives 80p back, so the effective price is only £4.20, which seems like a good deal. :)

Can anyone tell me what the policy is in Tesco for an item which has been purchased and is the wrong price. Yesterday I bought triple pack of mints x two packs. I normally buy them in Poundland but saw them on the shelf in Tesco for 75p (white label so not reduced) so thought I would buy 2 packs. I had bought various magazines with free items attached (I'll list these separately if not already listed), so I wanted to check my receipt before I left the store. That's when I noticed I was charged £1 each for the mints so I went to Customer Services and the man there went to check the counter. He came back with the 75p white label in his hand and said the boxes of mints had been put in the wrong place and it was other mints which should have been there. He offered to refund me but nothing else so I just kept them. Do they have a policy for this sort of thing happening?

Not sure of the official policy. I had similar issue with a mop bucket which was on a shelf marked £1.50 and went through at £5. On checking SEL more closely it was for a different brand. The CS staff agreed it was confusing so offered a refund or to sell it to me for £1.50. I chose the latter.
  • Hi everyone, i've had a reciept dated 17 March, which i've submitted about 4 times now, and each time I get an email back telling me the receipt cannot be found. Ive now emailed customer services. Has this happened to anyone else, and what action did you take?! Thanks!

Often its the date or time format thats the cause. Try several alternates of 12/24 hour clock or 03 and 3 for the month. This worked for me last time even though I did have a little argument with the till supervisor when it can to use the voucher (of course they dont match with the receipt).
