Which is annoying as my conditional spends for next week dont start until the 12th :D

Just wondering wether to get some more yogurt tommorow with them if I can figure out wether its better to get a JTD yogurt or just a BOGOF one and also depending wether any of todays receipts come back.

I side stepped the difficult maths today and just got 4 packs of the BOGOF cheese and a pack of value slices, used four £1 price flop MOCs and a £3 odd conditional spend so four packs for just over £1 and enough cheese to last until June which is the use by date. Hopefully a similar offer will be on then :D

Why don't you buy the Muller 4 packs for 25p, then you can get 12 packs of 4 for £2 if you use your £1 off? They're the Muller Vitality probiotic 4 packs, 3 varieties scanning at 25p - Strawberry/Raspberry/Peach & Passionfruit, although SEL is £1.

Will save any bother with JTD.

yes, got the barcode numbers so I can go on a yogurt hunt tommorow. Just have to hope they have good long use by dates but we have visitors next week so we should use up more - or I can make smoothies with them if I can get some reduced bananas from sainsburys :T

I bought 4 blocks of cathedral city and a pacl of philadelphia that was £1. Used 4 x £1 coupons from the price check booklets, as the till sees the value before the BOGOF. So, I also got my cheeses for £1 a block, and no need to worry about JTD and it not comparing etc!

Thanks for posting the above, I decided to copy you:beer:
Price check results for today, a couple of new things, but check the prices as there are price changes in Asda and Tesco midnight tonight.

I've been reading this thread a few times over the last few months and started the end of February to check and submit my receipts. So far I got back 28p, 95p and a whopping £5.20. The larger one was from when we had a quick family visit up north for a funeral and bought some items in the local Tesco up there to take with us, as there were the 4 of us, which is obviously more expensive than our local with it being in a smaller area. I'm so glad I submitted them and now I'm hooked. I do spend the time checking mysupermarket.co.uk to prevent me submitting receipts and wasting some of my 10 per month if there is nothing due back on them.

What I need to ask is: why do you list Tesco makes as I thought they would only compare items which were non-Tesco make. Do they compare, eg as listed above in marcie123, Tesco CAULI / BROC FLORET 400G with an equivalent Asda make if the same amount of grams? A lot of items on our receipts are Tesco own make and didn't think they would compare a similar item in Asda. Many thanks. :)

Hi, Yes - some Tesco/Asda brand items do compare, although it can sometimes be a lottery as to whether they do. As an example, the Tesco Finest stuff generally compares with equivalent Asda Extra Special stuff. It's worth working out your shopping in advance which items you think might compare and then buying them in a separate shop - if they come back as NA then you haven't lost anything!

Oh, that's surprising. I wouldn't have thought they would. All their fruit and veg seems to be Tesco's own so would that compare as we buy a lot of fruit and veg? I must try to do that on a Friday night before Saturday food shopping. Thanks for that great information. ;)
