None of the wines that I could see come up on mysupermarket as a direct comparison, although they'll always find a substitute, so maybe that's what they use?

This one isn't listed online, but I saw it on the meal deal display today and might be a potentially good one

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=268763550

It's £9.99 in T's, so if it's going to match it's probably cheaper in A's. The substitute is this one at £7.48

I'm planning on getting it tonight when I do my carefully orchestrated £40 shop, using my newspaper coupon for £5 off wys £40 and £6 wys £40 clubcard one, as long as it's on the display in my local. I'll let you know.

i tried this Touraine Sauvignon 75Cl the one in meal deal(different looking bottle)

    it came back N/A

I've had a "not found" one, but not wrong results before. Does it give you a voucher, or are you saying it isn't and should be, therefore you're losing out?

Yes it is offering a voucher on both wrong replies. One is only 59p the other £3.43, but I can't print them out as it has very obvious different totals and items on the receipts.
I rang them today and they say they can't do anything about it as its down to their IT dept:
I said its a bad/unfair description of a pricematch and they said there is nothing they can do about it.
I think they could have offered a gift card but it seems not on pricematching?

Not sure if this has been mentioned as I have only just started looking at this thread, but the cadbury twinpot yoghurts are at 4 for £3 at T's, but 50p each at A's. I have price checked these twice in the last week at t's average theirs to 75p a pot because of the multibuy, so a JTD return of 25p per pot.
This may work with the price drop yoghurt coupon too,

Thanks. I tried this last night and the coupon did not work on the SS but the sa overrode it for me. I have a lot more luck with using coupons on the SS. I think this is because they are told to make them progress quickly.

No you don't - why don't you try it? I can't believe these forums sometimes - you try to help and people immediately think you're a Tesco trout! There are more ways to rebel against capitalism than sitting in front of St Pauls Cathedral!
The email I use most (without an email account) is upyourstesco.co.uk or various words to that effect!

:rotfl::rotfl:Love it! I always make up an email, a different one everytime and I never wait for a reply just straight back to price check and re enter to print out the coupon.

The Bolognese Pasta melt, £4.00 at T's, also price checks against A's. I have no idea what they compare it to, but it it gives a 90p JTD. I have done this loads of times and works every time, although used to give a JTD of £1.00, so whatever it compares to in A's must have gone up by 10p over the last 6 months.
It doesn't work on the Three cheese pasta melt though, and not sure about the new pepperoni one.

With an extra £1 spent on ready meals, you can use the price check voucher too.
The Rustlers Quarter pounder with cheese, chicken burger and rib burger are all £1 in T's at the moment and A's don't sell any Rustlers according to their website, so shouldn't effect the price check, and even better if you have the BOGOF Rustlers voucher.

Bought one of these on 29th feb and price check results now in. It seems it is comparing at t's £4 and a's £2 at the moment, so it must be on offer at a's this wk.

    So - Bolognese pasta melt - t's £4 - a's £2
    Rustlers x2 - t's £2 (£1 each) - a's n/a

    Sub-total = £6
less price check coupon £1 off £4 spend on ready meals
less bogoff Rustlers coupon (if you have it) £1

Total spend £4 with a JTD return of £2
