Help with transporting bikes in car trailer

Hi
Has anyone got any bright ideas about how to simply transport bikes in a car trailer please?
The trailer is plenty big enough with meshed sides.
I have tried simply tying the bikes onto the sides but they overlap the edge quite a bit with their handlebars.
I would appreciate any advice about carrying them upright but more in the center of the trailer to avoid the handlebars sticking out the sides.
Best wishes

Lossen the head set bolt so you can twist the handle bar through 90 degrees.0

Cant the handler bar be twisted by undoing bolt?0

Hi,
That's a good idea - thanks0 -
You could attach these to the front of the trailer.

But you would need a way of securing the bike properly.0 -

i would say take the wheels off the above mentioned so the bikes stay put not moved back and forth when braking accellerating. fix them in place by drilling holes in the trailer bed and using exhaust clamps to fix them down then by putting the bikes in back wheel first so they stand upright rigid and can be locked down.
then with the handle bars turned sidewards this should solve you problem, have a alankey set in the car to tighten untighten the bars when unloaded.0
