Dixons rant / Comet praise

Ordered a slow cooker for my mother in law from the dixons website, recieved an email two days before I was due to receive my slow cooker telling me that it was not in stock and I should expect a refund within 48 hours. After waiting two weeks with no sign of my refund had to call their premium rate line to get through to a very unhelpful member of staff who seemed very uninterested and spoke to me with little respect. Luckily I recieved my money back after another week of waiting, however I was very unhappy with the service.
However I ordered a slow cooker from comet shortly after, product arrived very swiftly with no problems and I even got texts to keep my up to date with my product, fantastic service. (and it worked out cheaper with them as well.) :T

Dixons and Comet are actually the same company along with PC World, and they own Pixmania too. In my experience, they're six and half a dozen. But I'm glad it worked out for you!0

It's Currys not Comet.
They all can be OK on price now and again but if something goes wrong, good luck as have awful customer service.0 -

They took too long to tell her the item was out of order, took three Weeks to process a refund that she was told wouldt take 48 hours and the CSA on the PREMIUM RATE phone number was rude.
