Welcome Finance PPI ?

Please could anyone provide me with information regarding Welcome Finance.
On one thread someone suggests ringing our local office but this I prefer not to do as we have had problems with them regarding their debt reclaiming methods. Shocking !!
My partner was self employed when taking out a loan with them 2005 be was near to retirement also.
Since illness forced his retirement sooner we asked about being able to claim PPI to be told by Welcome no you do not have PPI and we requested a copy of the agreement that never transpired .
Some time ago we did have a letter from Welcome detailing that we had no PPI meanwhile FRCS dealing with PPI with Welcome have requested we fill in the questionnaire to claim.
We wrote back and enclosed a copy of the letter informing us no PPI
and that was the end of any claim as far as we were concerned !
Yet today clearing through loads of paperwork I find the original agreement and it shows 2200 PPI !!!
Basically they have lied to us !
Sorry this going on a bit but I Di not know the next step to take ?
In posting this I hope others are warned especially as we are being lied to .

You need to contact FSCS and tell them you have proof of the ppi and ask them to look at this again.0

hello
I have also purchased a car loan with Welcome Finance.
It was 4 years ago and this month is last month I'm repaying the loan. I had signed the loan and I have PPI for amount 2880ł(incl. interest) because agent stated that it is a condition to get the loan.
I had started my claim today. I wrote a claim to reclaim the full amount and 200ł compensation. Can u tell me if that is possible that I will get this money back if so how long it may take??0
